Basic Approach to Human Rights
The Okamoto Group shall not make any discrimination based on nationality, race, ethnic group, religion, thoughts or beliefs, age, gender, or disability. We respect the diverse values of our employees and assign each of them to an appropriate role to enable them to exhibit their abilities in pursuit of a personal growth as each employee, and of sustainable development as a company, prohibiting a forced labor or a child labor under any circumstances.
Human Rights Liaison
Okamoto has established internal and external liaisons for reporting and consultation in an effort to prevent infringements of human rights and harassment from occurring. These liaisons conduct fact-finding investigations and seek to resolve problems appropriately while taking care to protect the people who report misconduct.
